Straw Maze!!

Ok so I know I am absolutely HORRIBLE at this blogging thing :( I promise to better! Actually ... that's a lie. I'll probably still be horrible but I'll try my hardest! It's hard to blog when you don't have something specific to talk about. But here I am ... alive and blogging!!

A few weeks ago, my FHE group went to the straw maze and it was SO MUCH FUN!!! Jessie and I had crazy amounts of energy so that made the night even more exciting! We ran around and screamed and got scared but it was all in the name of fun. We also went and got ice cream afterwards so that made us even more hyper! But we had fun and were able to bond as a FHE group. Here are some of the pictures:

A little bit about ME!!

Well I decided that I should tell everyone a little bit more about me!! That first post was for my Technology class :) Anyway a little bit about me! I am currently a sophomore at BYU-Idaho studying elementary education. I am the oldest of 5 kids - 1 sister Megan and 3 brothers Tanner, Nash, and Jase. I consider my mom my best friend and I LOVE spending time with her!! My dad is a football and basketball coach and my family is very involved in sports!! We love to play and support each other in all the activities we do. Here are some pictures of my family:

My oldest cousin, Briaunna got married on September 18, 2010. Here are some of the pictures from the weekend!!

We had an AMAZING time as a family and really enjoyed the weekend!! It was nice to get away and to spend some time together. Briaunna is the oldest cousin in our family so she started the beginning of going to the temple! It makes me excited to have the opportunity to one day go to the temple myself and to be able to support each of my family members as they make those sacred covenants one day. Congrats Bri and Landon!!

Plans for the future ...

My name is Kelsey Austin and I am currently an Elementary Education Major at BYU-Idaho. I am LOVIN life and I am really excited to pursue my dream in education. One day, I hope to become a kindergarten teacher!! I plan on being an amazing teacher (at least I hope). I feel like rules are important but kids also need to feel comfortable in their classroom. Students should be able to laugh and have fun while learning at the same time. Kids need structure, especially at a young age, and I hope to be able to offer that to them. I plan on being a fun and energetic teacher for as long as I can. Well, that's my plans for the future in a nutshell :)
