Funny!!

I got this email from my grandma today and thought you might enjoy it :)

I was packing for my business trip and my three year old daughter was having a wonderful time playing on the bed. At one point she said, "Daddy, look at this," and stuck out two of her fingers. Trying to keep her entertained, I reached out and stuck her tiny fingers in my mouth and said, "Daddy's gonna eat your fingers," pretending to eat them. I went back to packing, looked up again and my daughter was standing on the bed staring at her fingers with a devastated look on her face. I said, "What's wrong, honey?" She replied, "What happened to my booger?"

Chicken Noodle Soup & Apple Pie

This is my WONDERFUL Grandmother ...

The other day, I got to spend the day with her and she taught me how to make homemade chicken noodle soup and apple pie. It was a lot of fun to learn from her and spend one-on-one time with my grandparents!

And this is the BEAUTIFUL apple pie made from scratch!! Now I know how to make homemade pie crust :) 

It was a very fun day and I enjoyed the time spent with those I love. I look forward to using my new found cooking skills in the future :) Hopefully I can remember all the little secrets my Grandma shared with me!! 

"Gnomeo and Juliet"

Katie, Bobbi, Emily, Collette, and I got together one random day and went to see the movie "Gnomeo and Juliet". It was so much fun to spend time together and laugh once again. Plus the movie was ADORABLE and HILARIOUS!!! I sure love these girls :)

It was a fantastic day and I am so glad that I have such amazing friends in my life! It was nice to relax and just laugh about everything for a few hours. LOVE YOU GUYS :) 

Valentine's Day

I had a pretty good Valentine's Day this year! I spent the day with my family and at this point in my life, it was exactly what I needed :)
Valentine's Day hasn't always been my favorite holiday but this year I realized that it doesn't matter who you love. All that matters is that you love them with all your heart, all the time! Here is my Valentine this year:

That's right! Jase, my adorable little brother, was my Valentine this year :) 

My mom decided that she wanted to do something special this year so we decorated the dining room and had a special "candle-lit" dinner! It was a great way to spend the evening!! Here are a few pictures of our decorations:

I know it has been FOREVER since I have blogged but I'm still alive and back to the blogging world!! Here come a few updates on my life as of late :)

January?

Where the heck did January go?!

I feel like it just started and now we're on to February ... It's like my life is going by too fast and I need it to slow down so I can remember everything! I guess that's why we're taught to cherish the moment isn't it?

January was a pretty good month at my house. I went to lots of basketball games with my family and enjoyed every minute of it :)

Hopefully February will be just as good if not better then January!!

My True Love ...

Um ... I love basketball.

Like a lot ... a lot a lot a lot!!

I could watch basketball games all day, every day!

To watch a person step on the floor and transform into an aggressive and intense athlete is some what of a thrill for me.

I guess you could say basketball is my addiction ... and I wouldn't have it any other way :)

The easiest way to my heart is to look amazing on the basketball court!

My Life these Days :)

I just thought maybe someone out there would want to know what I had been up to these days ... I don't really know who (if anyone) reads my blog but I figure I might as well document this time in my life even if it is just for me :)

So basically all I do is sleep these days. I sleep in late and go to bed early ... what an easy life huh??

Ok just kidding (kind of). I do more them sleep!! I work every so often and try to save as much money as I can so I can afford to go back to school. I also spend a lot of time with my mommy and I enjoy that :) I help her around the house and with my siblings. It's not a bad life ... I enjoy helping and doing what I can to make my mom's life easier.

I also spend A LOT of time in the gym!! but not working out (who does that anyway?? I should start but thats another story :) I have become even more of a basketball fanatic then before!! Between my 3 brothers I have lots of games to attend and I truly love every minute of it!! I love watching the game and analyzing each play. I also love supporting my family and spending time with them. It continues to bring us together and it's a great way to spend my break.

So that's pretty much my life these days. It may sound boring to some but I love it :) Besides, it's better then doing homework and studying for tests!! That's all for now ... I'll blog again when I come up with something awesome to talk about :)

The Hunger Games!!

So ... I became obsessed with these books around a week ago and I read all three of them in that time (I know, I have no life). I could not put them down!!! They are so well written and VERY captivating. I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen to each of the characters. I immediately fell in love with certain characters and quickly learned which ones to hate. I am a Peeta fan all the way .... basically I love him and think he is amazing :) I can not wait for these books to be made into movies!! Katie and I will DEFINITELY be there at the midnight premiere ... feel free to join us :) It'll be a party!

So ya ... I LOVE LOVE LOVE these books and would DEFINITELY recommend them to everyone I know!! You won't regret it :)
